WoW/Blizzard/MMO Customer Service aaaarg!

« 17 September 2007 | 12:15 | Gaming | No Comments »

A few days ago, I thought maybe I’d try to transfer a WoW character from one of my accounts to another one of my accounts. The problem is the accounts in question are on two different last names. One of the accounts was my old roommates, who quit playing and gave me the account. I [...]

Grrzok is Level 70!

« 16 September 2007 | 20:15 | Gaming | No Comments »

20 days after I decided to start leveling Grrzok, my Horde Shaman, I am level 70. I started at level 45. 25 levels in 20 days isn’t too bad if you ask me. I had a lot of help from Kiatrasi.
Now I can actually start playing my character, since the game really only starts at [...]

First Kills are still great

« 11 September 2007 | 13:27 | Gaming | No Comments »

Last night during our KZ run our raid got two first kills, Prince Malchezaar and Netherspite. Not first kills for our guild, but first kills for all the raiders and the “day crew”. It’s really strange how satisfying it is to be part of a first kill. The moment the boss goes down is usually [...]

Playing Horde

« 9 September 2007 | 10:52 | Gaming | No Comments »

On Aug 28th, I decided I was going to level up my Horde character to 70. He’s a Orc Shaman. Been stuck at level 45 for probably a year and a half at least. I created him on opening day of the game and was playing the two sides semi-balanced for a while. I just [...]

Anti-Piracy, Anti-Cheating, Anti-Theft

Things are getting out of control in the PC gaming arena. I’m getting really fed up with the present and where I see the future of PC gaming. I remember in college, in my speech class, I gave a presentation on how to modify your PlayStation so you could play games burned from your local [...]

Yikes!

« 17 August 2007 | 17:54 | Gaming, Logic | No Comments »

I was browsing some forums for the game Two Worlds, and came across a thread with this subject:

Now, normally I don’t mind grammar mistakes and misspelling. More often than not it is a post by someone with English as a second/third language. However, this one jumped out at me for some reason. The rest of [...]

WTF does that mean? Well I looked at my last post and it was almost a month ago. Maybe it’d be easier for me to update my blog(s), if I just wrote a script to do it. I could have it pull from random topics and maybe Google news and make something up. Might be [...]

LOTRO: Music Demo

« 21 June 2007 | 20:26 | Gaming | No Comments »

LOTRO has very involved music system. All classes have access to a few instruments. The Minstrel, which is the class I play, has access too all of them. While waiting around, I decided to record a short music demonstration. This shows off all the instruments available.

There’s a total of 8 notes to play. Each of [...]

GH2: More!

I’ve finished all the songs on Medium difficulty now. I’m working my way through Medium again to get 5 stars on all songs. So far, I’ve completed the first two section with 5-stars on each song. Below is a video for Eric, figured he’d get a kick out of the song.

Here’s a video of A [...]

Drug of Choice: Guitar Hero II

« 9 June 2007 | 12:25 | Gaming | No Comments »

I picked up Guitar Hero II a few days ago. A Pretty Lady and I love it. I really need to get another guitar so we can rock out together! Below is a video of my playing Stutter on Medium difficulty. I mess up a lot, hard to play for the camera!

What you don’t see [...]
